I can believe that Art Atack is 25 year old. I'm a kids of the 90's and remember rushing home from primary school just so I can watch it. "This is an art attack! This is an art attack! This is... Art Attack!" oh the memorys that saying brings back for those who don't know was Art Attack was here's points:
The series was one of CITV's longest running programmes, running from 1990 to 2007, and was presented by the wonderful Neil Buchanan.
Originating as a segment on '80s show No. 73, Art Attack was later spun off into its own series
The theme tune was one of the best the 90's. It had paint and art tools flying everywhere it was just bonkers.
Neil's enthusiasm made the show if it wasn't for him the show would have been nothing.

Its was fun, well writing and messy.
Each show had a part were it ws on some location and Neil would do a "Big Art Attack" that was made from thing that you wopuld find on that location. the fun part about this was that he would never tell you what it was he was make you hade to try and work it out.
He also had a sidekick the head was a puppet stone bust who would recount the steps needed to construct Neil's last Art Attack. Except he'd never quite nail.

Just to show you how great this guy was he also was part of another so I loved as a kid Zzzap!. He was know as Smarty Arty were he would draw things on a white wall then take then off and it would come to life.
What more could you ask from a great show like this. It was every kids dream of the 90's to be able to make at least one thing for the show.
So Happy Brithday Art Attack.
